Bereavement Support North Queensland is a volunteer organisation offering support to those grieving the death of a loved one. We also offer support to family, friends and carers of the bereaved.
We are a peer support service,
we are not counsellors.
Our Services
Everyone expresses grief and mourning differently. There is no ‘fixed plan’ which will meet all the support needs of the bereaved. Therefore, we offer a variety of different services: talking, listening, reading, meeting other people who are grieving, organising referrals to professionals if needed are just a few of the ways we support you in your grief. We provide support for children, young people and adults with services available to all age groups.
